Position Overview

A talent agent acts as a middleman between talented creative types and those that are looking to hire them. Here at BOME Productions, we do exactly that. We are agents for talented individuals on our team such as film directors, music composers, models, photographers, actors, makeup artists and others. Agents promote the talents of their clients in addition to performing other marketing duties. Selling a client's talents to prospective employers takes up a large amount of the agent's day, and the most successful talent agents come up with new and innovative ways to accomplish their goal. But doesn't end there. As an intern agent you will help our senior agent with all that and much more, including organizing meetings and attending them with another agent, communications between the agent and represented talent, reviewing submissions, and establishing relationships with new clients.


  • Prospecting potential clients

  • Contacting potential clients and setting up meetings

  • Keeping track of important events in the area to attend by the agent and represented talent

  • Searching for castings and auditions

  • Establishing new relationships with other agencies, venues, production houses, record labels and such in the area.

  • Assisting with talent marketing

  • Overall help with logistics and agency organization.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field

  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills

  • Beyond ordinary organizational skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • knowledge of film and entertainment industry in Minneapolis is an enormous plus

  • 1+ years’ experience in sales is a plus

  • Proficiency in of following platforms is a plus: Facebook, Instagram, Google Drive, Mail chimp, LinkedIn, Microsoft Excel, IMDb, Stage 32


  • It's a 3 months internship with an option to extend if you are doing good and we just can't live without you

  • This is not a paid position

  • Time commitment of 4-8 hours a week, unless you love it and want to help out more!

  • You will work mostly remotely

  • You will attend bi-weekly catch-up meetings (lunch, coffee, paddle boarding or similar activities) with agents
